The kind of interactive theatre evening where everyone is clicking, the jazz combo vibe of killer Improv owned the room, and nearly every person in the crowd was playing. (There&#8217;s always a few who are more comfortable not playing hard, but who dig more watching and less interaction. Ask anybody who&#8217;s done Tony&#8217;N&#8217;Tinas&#8217;s!) The character choices were strong, epic commitment by every actor. We all spoke fluent Crazy Cartoon Version accents. I don&#8217;t know when I&#8217;ve been so French. It was a regular monthly gig for this murder mystery group, in a boring looking VFW or something, so vanilla and inoffensive. We started out with half a house and two gigs later we were sold out in advance.🥳At one point, as the maid, I gave a tween dude a fake World of Warcraft name and told him what time I&#8217;d be online to meet up as our warrior wizards and do battle. I have never played WoW. 🤣 I think three tables solved it correctly. I know the bar had to change kegs. You never saw such organized chaos outside of politics. Then, SNAP!, they fell in for the detective&#8217;s summing up like it was Tony Nominations night and their agents were in the house. Even the actors.😉We got tips, we got fed, we got a shift drink after. And we also got paychecks, because the arts and sciences of live interactive theatre are professional skills with a secret handshake and everything. Paychecks!Anyway. FB memories can be hilarious. Some days, a photo of a false romance with a 20-year lie. Some days, a reminder of how exciting, fun, freeing and thrilling interactive can be. Even for the actors.🤣</news:title><news:keywords>GrannyHasAPodcast, actorslife, HattitudeOfGratitude🎩, improv, interactive theatre</news:keywords></news:news></url></urlset>
