No fooling, ripping up your entire life and putting your fun podcast on open-ended hiatus in order to vacate a toxic land and start anew can seem like being stuck in Jello in the fog. But ever so slowly, a piece at a time, you start to feel it groaning back to life again.
Content! Content! I’m back to making content! And it’s not about me, it’s way cooler. It’s a board game. A BOARD GAME IN 2026.
Analog, baby!
So, let’s review: I live on the couch of a one bedroom apartment that I share with Shannon and Phillip. Shannon is an actor, Phillip is a cartoonist who basically supports all three of us because he has the only full-time W2 in the house. As my income is tiny, much of my rent is paid in chores. I pay my own way and make household contributions, but the rent is mainly taking up slack in the chores.
So imagine my delight that I can put my AV skills to use! Phillip has been developing a board game, called “Dragon’s Hoard,” and he has a Kickstarter for it. So I’ve made this first little announcement short, and there will be more to come.
